February 23rd, 2009

Keyboardist extraordinaire, Jared Sloan has joined
the ranks of Gothic Knights. For the past several
months Jared has been working with the band on
new material as well as preparing past material for
live shows. His skill and influences in classic
and progressive power metal as well black metal
allows Gothic Knights to bring forth new elements
in creativity and live performance.

December 8th, 2008

Quick update...we are about to go into Trax East
Studios in early January to record the remaining
drum tracks for our next release. Right now, we
are in the midst of finishing up writing of the
last song which is also going to be the final
song on the next CD. A bunch of us in the band
are movie buffs, so we decided to choose one of
the greatest horror flicks to base this song. It
looks like it is going to reach the 10 minute mark,
and it is definitely going to have that epic
story telling quality.

We all wish you and happy holidays and a happy
and healthy new year!! The economy may suck.
But hey, we have our metal!!

The artwork for our next CD is complete!
Over the past month, artist Eliran Kantor (known
for his work on several covers but recently for
his work on the recent Testament CD "Formation of
Damnation) has put together something really dark
and eerie and just absolutely impressive for our
next CD!! Sometime in the next several months,
we will post the artwork on our myspace. But as
a sneak preview, so it will only be up for just
for a day or two!

July 25th, 2008

We just got out of Trax East Studios a few
days ago after laying down drum tracks to 10 new
songs! We are very happy with the results, the
drums sound real killer and very tight.......a lot of
double bass! For the next few months we will be
recording the rest of the instruments and vocals.
We are set to going back to Trax East at the end
of the year to record drums to an additional 7 to
10 songs, an plan to mix early next year! The next
CD which we plan on releasing in early/mid 2009 is
tentatively titled "Reflections from the Other Side".
CD artwork is nearly complete!

April 10th, 2008

Well, the time has finally come! Recording time has
been booked this summer at the illustrious Trax East
Studios in NJ. We look forward to working with producer
Eric Rachel again and putting out our finest effort to date!

March 24th, 2008

The band is very excited to announce that guitarist,
Dave the 3rd has joined the ranks of the Gothic Knights
family and recently performed his first show with the band
at L’amour. His years of experience and proficiency of the
guitar will allow the band to achieve new heights when it
comes to the execution of complex harmonies and dual lead
guitar solos. The band also extends a warm thank you to
guitarist "Kuzin" Dan Castro who parted ways with us last
year in order to fully concentrate on his personal musical
endeavors. We wish him all the best!

December 22nd, 2007

It's been some time since the last posting, but
we just want to let everyone know we have been
very busy mixing these days. We have written and
arranged well over an album's worth of material these
past couple of years. Yet needless to say, we are
still writing as the fun neverstops! Sometime early
next year, we will post up clips of several new songs
on the site, and also plan on putting together a separate
myspace page as well for this. We also have begun the
process of redesigning our website and logo to incorporate
the darker and more majestic aura in our new music.

The band has begun the remix and remastering process
for the first two CDs. Clips of the remixed songs will
be up on the site as they become available. There will
be several bonus tracks added to the first CD which
includes our 1994 demo "To Hell and Back". We hope to
have the reissud CDs for sale sometime in the near future.

December 2nd, 2005

The new T-shirts, all which are full color and double
sided have finally arrived. Please check the merch
page for more details. The band decided to hold off
pre-production this past Fall and continue writing as
a state of the art Pro Tools recording studio was put
together by the guitarist. For all who don't know about
about the advantages and benefits of digital recording
and production, this is a huge leap forward for the
band. The recordings will now soon begin using
the latest technology!!

September 6th, 2005

Band update!!
Full Color 2 sided T-shirts coming soon!!!
If all goes as planned, they will be available at
the Sept 16th show at BMT. In other news, band is
still in a heavy duty writing phase, and planning to
go into the recording studio this winter to officially
begin recording the next CD.

April 5th, 2005 VOCALIST WANTED Gothic Knights have parted ways with Rick Sanchez. We wish him the very best with his academic studies. Gothic Knights are now looking for a Pro Vocalist with recording and live experience. Band update!!
The band is just about done writing 13 new songs and
very soon we are going to begin pre-production on all
of them. The best way to describe the new music is as
heavier, more epic, with a dark and mystical quality.
After this pre-production recording, we plan on writing
about another 5 songs before we go into the studio to
officially begin working on our next CD. We are also
looking to book some shows for the summer so stay
tuned as we will be updating the site periodically.

We can't even say how much Dimebag Darrell will be
be missed. He Reinvented the Steel with his bandmates
by making Pantera the heaviest band in the world, forging
a sound that became a tremendous inspiration to all of us.
It is also well known in the metal community that he was a
true gentleman and a very positive spirit in metal. One of
our bandmembers had the privilege of meeting him. Our
deepest condolences go out to his family.

He will be missed for sure...

October 4th, 2004 We want to give you an update on what's going on in the Gothic Knights camp. We finished arranging 5 new songs and now wrapping up our preproduction recordings. For next few months, we will be busy continuing our quest in writing and preproducing new songs for our next CD.

Greetings all,

We want to give everyone an update on what our plans
are for this year. The band is planning to do a great deal
of writing this year in preparation for our next effort. Who
knows, possibly even two! Over the past couple of years,
we have come up with many concepts and riffs for songs.
Some even date back several years. The desire and focus
in the band is to now finish these songs, and over the
course of time to come up with even newer ones as we
plan on recording sometime in the future. We do plan
to play a few select shows in our area, and hope to
see you all there!!

As Gothic Knights begins it's 14th year, we want to
once again thank all the people, fans and friends who
have supported us over the years.

to be one of their featured bands for the month of
January!! This highly reputable internet radio station will
be playing tracks off the new CD and will also be including
the band on their syndicated show "Heavycore Hour".
The station is well regared for their playlists and
strong support for REAL Heavy Metal!!!

Greetings all,

Dan Castro has joined the Knights as their live
rhythm guitarist. The band will be playing as a
six piece band at shows which includes keyboardist
Vlado Kormos. The band felt that incorporating all
the instrumentation in the songs from the CDs will
give the listener a more memorable and fullfilling
experience live.

Well, the big day has finally come!!!
Our third CD "Up from the Ashes" has been released!!!
Already, it is available in the States through some of the
large online mailorder stores. We are currently gearing up
and preparing for shows to support our latest release.

LMP will be releasing a special limited edition
digipack version of our new album "Up from the Ashes".
The digipack version will include 11 songs plus 2 bonus
bonus tracks - The Machine, Hungry Like The Wolf (Duran
Duran cover!), liner notes to each song, a poster, and a
sticker! The new CD will also be available worldwide
in regular jewel case format with 11 songs.

Hailing from Eastern Europe, keyboardist Vlado Kormos is
featured on the upcoming CD. He is on several of the tracks,
most notably for the piano and strings on Dear Queen and
the choir and pipe organ sounds on Vampyre.

Greetings all,

Gothic Knights have accepted an offer for a multi album deal
with Limb Records in Germany! Limb Music (LMP Records) is well
known for their worldwide success with the highly acclaimed symphonic
metal band Rhapsody and their excellent reputation and strivance for
releasing some of the most cutting edge metal to date. Along with
this unionship with Limb, there are plans to re-release both the 1999
Kingdom of the Knights CD and the 1996 debut CD in the future!
The band has some special plans for both re-releases!

Drummer Frank Gilchriest has joined Gothic Knights
and will appear on the next CD "Up From the Ashes".
He has been working with us since the Fall of 2002 and
has already recorded the drums for the album back in
December. Frank is well known and highly regarded
for his masterful drumwork in Virgin Steele and has
recorded several albums with them. Greetings and
hails to the new Knight!!!

The band is currently in the studio recording their
next full length CD titled "Up From the Ashes" to be
released later this year. Check the site periodically
for updates. There has been a lot going on,
and we will be announcing some major
news and developments!!!

"The Witching Hour" has been selected from the 2002
demo and was recently released on the
Heavy Oder Was!? Metal Crusade CD (February 2003 issue).
This excellent German metal magazine has a circulation
of about 40,000 copies worldwide!

Nov 20, 2002

The band wants to thank drummer Tony Cianciotto
for his great efforts and hard work. Due to family and
personal commitments, he will not able to continue with the
band anymore. We wish him all the best! He may not be
in the band anymore, but he will always be a Knight!!

Greetings,
I just want to let everyone know that the band is real busy in the recording studio.
We are paying a lot of attention to detail as we will be releasing our most
polished effort to date! I am very pleased to say that the band has taken itself to a
different level with some of the new songs in terms of their heaviness and power.
The songs on this next album will range from fast and furious speed gallops
to slow and haunting doom metal, and everything in between. There are
also some really amazing vocal and guitar harmonies placed on this album!
We expect to have mixes to several of the songs by the end of May, and will
post a few samples up on the site.

I have some really great news on behalf of the band!!!
The song Guardian Archangel has been selected from the most recent
Gothic Knights demo to appear on Rock Hard Magazine's CD
compilation for the January 2002 issue.
This German metal magazine has a circulation of about 100,000 copies worldwide!

In regard to the World Trade Center tragedy...
Once again we are faced with the battle between good and evil, where evil has
struck deep in the heart and soul of every American and free-minded person in
the world. It is an absolute shame that the lack of security at our airports
has been taken advantage of by these terrorists who ended up hijacking these
airplanes and using them as weapons of mass destruction.
It is now time for our country to take control and eliminate terrorism before
it gets worse. These terrorists should be tracked down, hunted, and killed
for their actions and disregard for human life. It is also time for us to
step up security to a new level, and keep a closer watch on the countries and
people of the world who do not believe in our way of life. As our technology
keeps advancing, we need to find ways of protecting ourselves from terrorists
who would take our modern advancements and use them as weapons. We as
Americans must also keep in mind not to kill innocent people in our country
or the countries around the world as we look for them. We must always set
the example by protecting the innocent and destroying the guilty.
Our hopes and prayers are with the victims and the families of this senseless
tragedy. Our country and it's great values will survive and carry on, and we
as Americans always stand strong together especially in times of need.

We will PREVAIL!
